Work plan Vectors This example illustrates the sum of two plane vectors.
The pupil may drag the heads of the vectors A and B
and he or she will be able to observe that the vector A+B is always at
the vertex of the paralelogram defined by A and B. While
dragging A or B the user can see how the coordinates A.x and A.y or B.x and B.y change. The user can
also modify the coordinates directly and thus will observe that the points A
and B take on those coordinates and that the sum vector A+B
is always kept actualized. In order to see the coordinates of the point A+B
the user can click the left mouse button on it. This example illustrates the tools SEGMENTS, POINTS
and CONTROLS. The CONTROLS are points that the user may drag with the mouse. Introduction Appetizer Examples Documentation Applications
