INTRODUCTION

This unit focuses on how to measure angles as well as carrying out operations with these angles. It also looks at how these special pairs of angles relate to each other: complementary and supplementary.

AIMS

To introduce the concept of an angle.
To find a way of measuring angles.
To carry out operations both graphically and numerically with angles.
To introduce the concept of complementary and supplementary angles.
