1. PLOTTING WHOLE NUMBER COORDINATES

Seven points with whole number coordinates have been positioned on the plane: A, B, C, D, E, F and G.

You can use the zoom and move the axes to see different parts of the plane.

1.-Find points A, B, C, D, E, F and G and write their coordinates in your notebook.

Check that the coordinates you have written down are correct by moving the red point and positioning it on each one of the yellow points.

2. PLOTTING COORDINATES WITH DECIMAL NUMBERS

Another seven points with decimal coordinates this time have been positioned on the plane: A, B, C, D, E, F and G.

You can use the zoom and move the axes to see different parts of the plane.

2.-Find points A, B, C, D, E, F and G and write their coordinates to two decimal points in your notebook.

Write the approximate x and y-coordinates in the boxes and then use the arrows to make the red point cover the yellow one completely.

3. DETERMINING COORDINATE POINTS

In this window a yellow point appears in random positions.

If you cannot see the yellow point use the zoom until you can see it on the axes.

3.-Determine the coordinates of the yellow point by writing its x and y-coordinates. Correct answers will be indicated.

First click on the Start button (init) to get the points to 0. When you have written the correct coordinates of the point click on the animate button to get a new point and see how many of your answers are correct.

4.-Try and get ten consecutive correct answers.
